Are you a Instagram addict? Would you love to have a book delivered to your door each month full of all of your Instagram pics from the past month? If so, then you’re going to LOVE my new favorite find!
Earlier this summer, I took an online iPhoneography class through Clickin Moms. ¬†It was the BEST iPhone photo class I’ve ever taken. ¬†Part of the commentary from the students was a conversation on favorite Instagram apps and products/services. ¬†Someone mentioned a monthly book service from Books to Me and I was sold!
What’s so awesome about this service is that you don’t have to set up the book pages yourself! ¬†They do it for you! ¬†Also, you can sign up for either a monthly or quarterly service where they will automatically send you a book each month (or quarter) filled with your Instagram images from the past month (or quarter). ¬†All you have to do is provide them with your Instagram account name and they take care of the rest!
Now, if you’re thinking you might not want¬†all of your images preserved in the pages of a book for all eternity, have no fear! ¬†The ingenious folks at Books to Me¬†¬†have already considered this and provide a hashtag to use on any images that you don’t want included in your book. ¬†Pretty cool, right?!
This is such a great way to get your images¬†off your phone/computer and out for others to see! ¬†And with the crafty folks at Books to Me¬†¬†taking care of everything for you, all you have to do is select your plan (monthly or quarterly), give them your Instagram account name, and provide them with your credit card (it automatically bills you each month/quarter). ¬†Then, just get busy snapping photos and each month/quarter, it’ll feel like Christmas morning when you receive your new book!
Since I am¬†terrible¬†at remembering to print my images, this is a godsend for me! ¬†This is my very first book and I couldn’t wait to see how it turned out. ¬†I was very happy with the quality and it only took about a week after I set up the service and ordered my first book. ¬†Now, I just need to find a good place to store and display these! ¬†Can’t have them gathering dust on a shelf! ¬†Over the course of the month leading up to this, it definitely encouraged me to take more photos since I knew I would be filling my upcoming book. ¬†I can’t wait to go back after I have several months of these and flip back through the pages. ¬†I’m especially excited about the holidays. ¬†I plan to make my December book completely Christmas and holiday themed!
I’m also thinking if you’re particularly crafty or have awesome handwriting, you could go back and decorate the pages or at the very least add in a date or comment to personalize it even more. ¬†I feel like there are so many options for these little books. ¬†Can you tell I’m excited about it?
So tell me, how do you preserve your photos and memories to get them off your camera or phone?
